Setting the Table with Sammy Seung-Min Lee

As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve been expanding my writing work to include more arts coverage and my latest interview is with interdisciplinary artist Sammy Seung-Min Lee. Lee is a native of Seoul, South Korea, and her experience as an immigrant in America uniquely positions her to explore themes that include belonging, home, and cross-cultural psychology. But what is most interesting about Sammy’s work is it discusses these themes through the domestic world of table-settings - an everyday part of life usually considered to be part of the feminine sphere. Check out the story to learn more about Sammy’s work and her upcoming projects. g-xo
