The Challenge: Defining a Singular Narrative

For this feature, I was given a "blank slate" to define the fashion direction. The challenge was to identify a singular, resonant theme that would feel both timely for the season and sophisticated enough for a high-end editorial audience.

The Solution: Trend Identification & Thematic Contrast

Recognizing gender-fluidity as a top fashion trend for the season, I centered the feature on a "Boy-Meets-Girl" narrative. I curated a wardrobe that explored the tension between masculine tailoring and feminine delicacy, selecting a location that grounded these contrasting silhouettes. This was a "Merchant-Editor" approach: identifying a market-relevant trend and building the visual architecture to support it.

The Result: A Sophisticated Trend Thesis

A polished, multi-page feature for 5280 that successfully introduced a complex seasonal theme through a cohesive and visually compelling lens.
