The Challenge: Reimagining a 90s Icon
The challenge was to take an internationally recognized face of the 1990s and translate her iconic "supermodel" legacy into a contemporary context. It required honoring the visual history the public already associated with her while introducing a sophisticated, modern maturity that felt like a natural progression, not a total departure.
The Solution: Archive Research & Tonal Strategy
I conducted a deep dive into Carré’s career archives, analyzing the silhouettes and moods that defined her peak editorial years. By comparing these historical markers with her current aesthetic, I designed a palette of rich neutrals and textures that complemented her evolution. This was an exercise in "Organic Evolution"—using her past to inform a future-proof visual identity.
The Result: A Sophisticated Legacy Update
A series of images that successfully updated a fashion icon’s look for a new era. The shoot served as a visual proposal on how to mature a high-profile brand without losing the "DNA" that made it famous.
