Volume is making a big statement for Fall 2025, with designers exploring new ways to both obscure and reveal the body. Moving away from rigid, form-fitting silhouettes, this season's most fashion forward collections feature dramatic shapes that redefine the relationship between clothing and the wearer.

Designers are playing with historical forms and reimagining them for a modern era. You'll see balloon shapes gathered strategically around the body to create duvet-like ensembles, or looped fabric wrapping the body from the legs all the way to the shoulders. Crinoline constructions and explosions of tulle and lace at the hip also make an appearance, adding a sense of drama.

Instead of defining the body's natural shape, this season's silhouettes are creating new ones.
