The Challenge: Harmonizing Fashion with Iconic Architecture
The magazine’s Creative Director chose the Denver Art Museum—a space defined by bold, sharp angles and massive scale—for a fall fashion feature. The challenge was to curate a selection of garments that could "hold their own" against the museum’s dominant architecture without the fashion becoming lost or the story feeling disjointed across vastly different galleries.
The Solution: Scaled Curation & Visual Dialogue
I curated a wardrobe of statement pieces specifically chosen for their silhouette and architectural integrity. By selecting high-texture fabrics and bold shapes, I ensured the fashion reflected current seasonal trends while maintaining a direct dialogue with the museum’s structure. This approach turned the environment into a strategic partner rather than just a backdrop.
The Result: A Masterclass in Curated Contrast
A comprehensive fashion feature that successfully bridged the gap between seasonal retail trends and fine art architecture.
